1. Display advertising

We may show display ads (for example, through a network such as Google AdSense). Ad networks may use cookies or similar technology to show relevant ads; see our Cookie policy and the network’s own disclosures. Ads are usually labelled or distinguishable from editorial content.

2. Affiliate links

Some articles or tool pages may link to third-party products or services. If we use an affiliate relationship, we may earn a commission when you sign up or buy — at no extra cost to you in many programmes. We aim to call out affiliate or sponsored relationships in context where the format allows.

3. Editorial independence

Commercial relationships do not change our methodology in calculators. Sponsored posts or “advertorial” content, if we run them, are identified as such. Our disclaimer still applies: nothing here is personal advice.
