The right format for each destination
A client emails a PNG screenshot but their CMS only accepts JPEG. A developer needs WebP for a performance sprint while marketing still wants PNG for slide decks. Local format conversion bridges those gaps without uploading assets to unknown servers.
Selection guide
Photos without transparency → JPEG or WebP lossy. Logos and UI with alpha → PNG or WebP lossless. Animated content → use dedicated GIF or video tools; this converter targets still frames.
Batch and color caveats
Browser converters may process one file at a time and ignore CMYK color profiles. For prepress CMYK jobs, use professional RIP software and consult your printer.
